With over 28+ years of working experience, Peter started his career in Banking & Finance, for IT mainly in the Shared Services, Financial Services and 8+years in Oil&Gas Chemicals/Manufacturing in a Regional/Global IT role, inclusive of Business Processes(BPI) & Continuous Improvements (CI).

Having strong People, Leadership and Team Management skills, Resources and Talent Development plus Relationship, Service Delivery and Account Management; he has been in the Senior Management team since 2010 with link to Gartner & CIO World for Technology solutions.

Over 25 years in Data Center/System/Enterprise Ops & Support role with combination of Application (Banking/Cards/SAP/Trading) & Infrastructure including Data Center Migration/Relocation/Consolidation, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Security/Risk, Governance/Compliance/Audit, SDLC, SLA, SoW, Vendor & Senior Stakeholders Management.

With 20+ years of Team/People/Budget Management, Projects/Program Mgmt, Procurement/Tender RFI + RFP Process, IT Roadmap & Architecture Strategy.

 Michal Golebiewski, Microsoft Malaysia’s Chief Marketing & Operations Officer (CM&OO) is responsible for leading the entire span of the marketing and operations functions of the subsidiary in line with the company’s vision of reinventing productivity in a mobile-first, cloud-first world.

This is an area that he is well acquainted with, after having led various divisions within the marketing and operations team over the last 21 years in Microsoft Poland and Romania. This includes leading the Server and Tools Business, the Customer and Partner Experience, as well as the Business Planning Operations function in Microsoft Poland, in addition to championing the CM&OO in Microsoft Romania – his last role prior to joining the Malaysian subsidiary.

Golebiewski plays a key leadership role in Microsoft Malaysia in directing and managing the overall business and marketing strategy as well as execution locally, overseeing product marketing groups, marketing communications, compete, business operations, enterprise marketing, public relations as well as customer and partner experience efforts. His main priority is to drive Digital Transformation awareness in Malaysia and evangelize technology impact on business for every organization.

Having held this current position for almost two years since 2015, Golebiewski brings wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of marketing and operations ensuring greater productivity within a Cloud-driven era in Malaysia. Upholding Microsoft’s Digital Transformation vision in Malaysia, he has participated in many speaking engagements and media relations initiatives alongside with key digital drivers such as the Malaysian Development Economy Corporation (MDEC) amongst others to create a cloud first, mobile first nation.

Golebiewski graduated with a degree in Electronics from Warsaw Technical University, and enjoys swimming, and reading books in his spare time.
