Eileen’s advertising journey started with Starcom Mediavest on Procter & Gamble business. Digital at heart, Eileen created Malaysia’s first social campaign for Head & Shoulders in partnership with Friendster in 2005 in an era when the term social media was not even coined yet – the campaign went on to be recognized by Campaign Asia as the Most Innovative Digital Campaign.
Eileen Ooi joined PHD at the back-end of 2016, taking over PHD Malaysia’s leadership. Full of energy, she spends her days advocating for rising media talents in Malaysia and creating new industry conventions. Since taking helm, she has led PHD Malaysia to numerous new business, doubled digital billings, piloted new beta digital projects in the areas of data marketing, dynamic creatives and AI-led chat bots, and witnessed agency headcount growth of 150%.
